Assessment of Familial Mediterranean fever (FMF)
The quality chronic disease management such as Familial Mediterranean fever (FMF) and patient care access has severely disrupted in response to coronavirus pandemic. FMF is an autosomal recessive autoinflammatory disorder, which is characterized by recurrent fever attacks and serositis. FMF can be well controlled with appropriate use of medications and monitoring. The wearable activity trackers, equipped with advance sensors, have potential to manage the chronic diseases through remote patient monitoring via data collection, real-time data analysis and data interpretation. The aim of this study is to assess the Familial Mediterranean Fever attack using pedometer and heart rate of a person by using a wearable activity tracker.
